Bestie had surgery last week to remove what was left of her cancer after chemo/radiation. She ended up doing really well and the surgeons were able to get it all out.
While they were kicking ass and taking names, they biospied her lymph nodes. If cancers spreads it usually goes there first. If they found cancer they would have to give her some serious chemo--the kind that makes her lose her hair, etc. But the biopsies came back clean! Yaaaaayyyy!
She has some healing to do and there are some other unpleasant side effects (which she would rightfully murder me for revealing), but she is on her way to beating the cance.

Very pleased to hear this, Keiko. I recently had 4 friends in 3 weeks facing breast cancer! BUT so many,many women are WINNING this fight. Go Keiko's Bestie!
