San Diego: Day Three

Sea World!

We started in the Sesame Street Bay of Play, mainly because it is one of the first things you see. There was a massive play structure, bouncy place, splash pad, and rides. B could have stayed here all day, except for the rides. He hated them. He better get over it, because someday we are going to Disneyland.
Humidity does awful things to my hair.
Sad faces all around.

Enthralled by the Arctic Show.
Walrus!

Polar bear!
Polar bear food! This fish was huddled against the glass, whispering, "Help me!"
Beluga whales

Turrrrtles!
Somewhere around 1pm we headed back to the hotel for naps. We got back just in time for the Shamu show, which was just as impressive as it was when I was little. Unfortunately for B we were not in the splash zone.

We meandered around the park until 9pm (a million hours past their bedtimes) and finished up in the Sesame Street area.
Jeff won him this. He names it Tree. Obviously.
Smile like we are a happy family!

Thanks to a friend's suggestion we did the meal pass. For $80 could eat all day long at most of the restaurants. My frugal soul soared with this deal.

Oh, family vacations! So fun, and SO MUCH FRIGGIN WORK. That meal pass looks like genius though.
